Facility Benefits
In addition to the contributions of the Clinical Mentors who are members of your staff, we recognize that your Facility itself is making a commitment to education needs of the profession. American Institutes values its relationships with its Facilities and has made a commitment in contributing to the ongoing quality and development of the profession through a compensation plan designed to provide your Facility financial resources to use at its discretion. The amount of compensation is determined by the level of participation by a Facility.

Levels of Participation
A Clinical Facility earns compensation each 12-week term based on its level of participation determined by the number of students it trains during the term. A Clinical Facility that trains a single student earns compensation at the same rate whether the student trains one day per week or up to four days per week. A Facility can increase its compensation by working with additional students providing the student-to-mentor ratio does not exceed one-to-one. The Participation Chart below illustrates that a Facility's compensation level increases as the number of students training at a facility increases.

Compensation is distributed at the end of each term based on a Facility's level of participation (i.e. 2 students training for the term equals $400). Variations in schedules and clinical availability at a Facility may increase or decrease the minimum reward due to the Facility for a particular term.

Reward Points

Compensation earned by Clinical Facilities and Clinical Mentors is typically awarded in the form of Reward Points deposited into a custom account on American Institute's online rewards site (1,000 points is equivalent to $50.) Reward points provide the Facility with the maximum amount of flexibility as Facilities can redeem rewards points for cash, educational activities or a variety of other retail and professional services items.
