American Institutes values its relationships with its Facilities and has made a commitment in contributing to the ongoing quality and development of the profession through a compensation plan designed to provide your Facility financial resources to use at its discretion. The amount of compensation is determined by the level of participation by a Facility.
Levels of Participation
A Facility can participate at one of three different levels. The level of participation by a Facility is determined by the number of “full-time equivalent” students it trains in one year period. The full-time equivalent represents what would be equal to one student’s clinical education training. Multiple student hours (due to rotation changes etc.) can equal the equivalent in the aggregate.
