Facility Benefits
In addition to the contributions of the Clinical Mentors who are members of your staff, we recognize that your Facility itself is making a commitment to education needs of the profession. American Institutes values its relationships with its Facilities and has made a commitment in contributing to the ongoing quality and development of the profession through a compensation plan designed to provide your Facility financial resources to use at its discretion. The amount of compensation is determined by the level of participation by a Facility.

Levels of Participation
A Facility can participate at one of three different levels. The level of participation by a Facility is determined by the number of “full-time equivalent” students it trains in one year period. The full-time equivalent represents what would be equal to one student’s clinical education training. Multiple student hours (due to rotation changes etc.) can equal the equivalent in the aggregate.



Compensation
The amount of compensation a Clinical Facility receives is determined by its level of participation in training students. A Clinical Facility receives a payment per “full-time equivalent.”

Payment Schedule
Payments to the Clinical Facility will occur at the completion of each clinical rotation based on the percentage of the full-time equivalent completed during that rotation.
