In recognition of the important contribution each Clinical Mentor makes in nurturing the minds, bodies and spirits of our students, we created the “Mind, Body, Spirit” Mentor Rewards program to nurture the minds, bodies and spirits of our Mentors. All active Clinical Mentors are eligible to take any short term online CME courses offered by American Institutes at no charge and any cross training courses for a 50% tuition discount.

Ongoing Rewards
Ongoing Reward credits are accumulated on a term-by-term basis for ongoing mentoring. A few examples of the wide variety of merchandise that can be purchased using rewards credits include a Sony Digital Reader for your mind and relaxing spa packages for your body and spirit.
Students will be in clinic an average of 2 days per week and in subsequent terms, 3 or 4 days a week. A 2-day per week Student Rotation results in 2 credits, 3 day per week rotation results in 3 credits, etc. Every 4 credits are valued at approximately $100.
As a Sonographer continues to mentor clinical students, he or she accumulates Reward Credits on a term-by-term basis per student. Reward Credits can be redeemed for items that match the appropriate reward credit category provided by American Institute.
Personal Satisfaction –
the biggest reward of all...
Beyond the Reward Credits, Clinical Mentors have a special opportunity to experience the unique personal satisfaction that comes from sharing their knowledge and skills and also to recognize the value of our program for its academic merits and feel comfort in knowing, that working together, the end result will be a well-prepared graduate, able to take and pass the national credentialing examinations upon graduation.
