Mentor Rewards Program
Variety and Flexibility
In recognition of the important contribution each Clinical Mentor makes in the clinical development of a student, we created our Mentor Rewards program. The program is designed to contribute back to Clinical Mentors for their efforts by providing them variety and flexibility with Instant and Ongoing rewards in the form of redeemable Reward Points.

Accumulating Reward Points
Instant Reward:
As a registered Clinical Mentor, you are eligible for a one-time Instant Reward of 3,000 points for mentoring your first student (equivalent to approximately $150).

Ongoing Rewards:
As a Sonographer continues to mentor Clinical Students, he or she earns Ongoing Reward Points. Points are awarded at the end of each term based on the number of training days in one week of the term. (i.e. 1 student training 2 days per week for the term equals 2000 points for that term) Mentors may be scheduled to work with one or more students 1-5 days per week during the term. A term is 12 weeks in length.


Redeeming Reward Points
Rewards can be redeemed for a cash equivalent, like a debit card, or can be used to purchase a wide variety of items in an assortment of categories from our Online Retail Catalog. The catalog contains an extensive selection of merchandise from jewelry to home entertainment and much, much more. Mentors can also select from out American Institute Custom Catalog which contains professional items such as ARDMS registry renewal fee reimbursement, SDMS/ASE professional society annual dues reimbursement or a variety of other professional development activities.

Personal Satisfaction -
the biggest reward of all
Beyond the Reward Credits, Clinical Mentors have a special opportunity to experience the unique personal satisfaction that comes from sharing their knowledge and skills and also to recognize the value of our program for its academic merits and feel comfort in knowing, that working together, the end result will be a well-prepared graduate, able to take and pass the national credentialing examinations upon graduation.







We support our Mentors through access to further education. All active Clinical Mentors are eligible to take any short online CME courses offered by American Institutes at no charge. Additionally, any active Mentor who wishes to cross train is eligible for a 50% tuition discount.
